Drum roll please...

Okay, so my brother has wanted me to start a "money earning" (ha!) website for some time now and I finally decided to do it in all of my newfound spare time, especially on Wednesdays.

You may have noticed that I have been scrapbooking an awful lot lately. For a while there, mostly due to my pregnancy, Sophia's birth and a move to a new state with huge adjustments, I had basically given it up. I have since found a renewed passion for it and have even started submitting more regularly and had some things picked up pretty quickly, which makes me feel super validated.

So, I decided to combine my love of scrapbooking and my love of collecting random things that I think are pretty and make a website out of it. I call it Inspired Scrapping. (Actual address is Each month I will choose a different genre of inspiration (this month is greeting cards) and a guest designer (this moth it's Hilary, anybody else want to volunteer?) and scrap my little heart out.

Please come visit. Come be inspired. I'll be posting weekly challenges every Friday, too. So come pariticpate. It'll be fun.

Sorry for the shameless self promotion, but hey, it's my blog and I can self-promote if I want to...

  1. What a great idea for a website. I'll go check it out!

  2. It's my blog... and I'll shamelessly-self-promote-if-I-want to....

  3. I checked it out just a few minutes ago - what a great idea and what fun!!!

Looking forward to lots of inspiration! :O)

We'll be in Cedar around the middle of June for just one night and part of one day, then we're headed into St. George for a couple of days. I teach in Cedar one morning and then in St. George all day the next day. Busy summer! Does Bria want to give me violin lessons while I'm there?!

  4. Lara,

I'm a lurker on yours and Hilary's blog (Hi Hilary!). I found you both through 2peas some time back. I suppose I was always drawn to your LOs because I have two little girls. Anyway, I love your new challenge blog, and I've already added it to my favorites. I'm primarily a 12x12 scrapper, but perhaps this will be extra incentive for me to delve into the world of 8.5x11 scrapping a little more. Thanks for all the inspiration. I like reading about your life because it helps me see that all mommies go through the same things!

  5. So I don't know why I never have commented on your blog before...I'm a bad Arizona friend...but this deserves some congrats! I'm excited for all your are a fabulous scrapbooker!
