Back in the saddle again

Well folks, it's Wednesday today. And we all know what that means. SUU lessons.

I love to teach them and once I'm there all is well, it's just the dread and anticipation leading up to 3:00 on Wednesday afternoons that gets me. Last semester was easy because I had only 2 students and one of them needed a morning lesson. But this semester will not be so easy.

The one thing that is good is that Chloe does not have M/W preschool this year like she did last year. That made my Wednesdays almost unbearable. Since she has T/Th preschool, I can get a lot more done on Wednesday morning, and I can already tell that this will be mucho better.

So, just an hour before I pick up Bria (early out day) and then I have an hour to prepare, and then it's off to the races!

Wish me luck!

  2. Go, Lara! I know what you mean. I have taught freshman composition at a local community college every semester but two (I think--and this one) since my eldest was born. I know the dread and the trying-to-get-it-all-done feeling. You'll do great!

BTW, the font I used on that scrapbook page is Quickutz Metro. Thanks for commenting on it!

  8. Ick, Wednesdays are my hard day too - leave the house at 7:00 am & don't get home until 9:00 pm. Well, glad we both made it through and here's to another day and a half until it's Wednesday again!
