Yes, I am a mother of girls
(deal with it)

Today we drove down to St. George, not to teach lessons (spring break), but to go shopping! The goal was Easter dresses for the girls.

I have only two criteria:

1. They must be adorable.

and

2. They must come in sizes 24 months, 5 and 8.

Yes, it is completely necessary that they all match for major holidays. After I had Chloe I fell into the matching obsession and am still going strong. It's much harder with three, though. Normal stores don't usually have the same dress in baby, toddler and girls sizes. And that is why I love the Children's Place so much.

These are the dresses we ended up with (I was wanting the same dress in pink, but Bria totally vetoed that):

I also bought some white tees with ruffled sleeves to go underneath, since I don't let them go sleeveless.
Hair pretties for Chloe and Sophie:

Hair pretty for Bria:

Just need to get a new pair of sandals for the baby and we're set for Easter! Pictures of actual children wearing these items coming soon (I hope)!

  1. I got my girls' outfits at Children's Place, too. They have had SUCH cute things the past few seasons. Glad you found what you were looking for. Can't wait to see the pics of the clothes with cute kids in them.

  3. OMG
    that is A-dorable.
Very jealous of your girl-ness -- this one week a year. :)

  4. Very cute! 'Course those girls would look cute in ANYTHING! On vetoing the pink - it must be a feat in itself just to get them to agree on an outfit! Then again, maybe they aren't all three as picky as my daughter who started arguing with me about clothing at age TEN MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I Love these dresses. Matching is a must for us too! I am fixin (yep in my native Texas that is a word) to have the same problem. My oldest is super tall. Since we had two weddings last fall (the girls had matching dresses for each occasion) and last years Easter dresses still fit, I am not going to buy any this year. I am a little sad though because I love Easter and buying new dresses.

  9. Very cute! It's pretty easy to find matching stuff for my girls. ;) I coordinate their colors or styles on almost a daily basis. We have a few sets of matching outfits too. I love doing the same clothes in three different colors. I never thought it would be so much fun!

  12. I'm excited to see the pictures too (or actually, if you're not going up north for Easter I hope to see them in person). I had hoped to hit the Children's Place this weekend too, but it didn't happen.

  14. I almost got the same dress for Ainsley, but couldn't find something to match Isaac in. Children's place is right where I head for Easter and Christmas as well because I can find boy and girl matching clothes!

  15. I was bugged that Ellie and Sadie were 5 years apart for this reason! I have yet to find matching dresses that I like so they always end up "co-ordinating." I guess I'll stop being so bitter about it one day.

  16. Very cute dresses! That is good to know that Children's Place carries the same dress in all those different sizes...that is, if I am blessed with another girl next time around. Of course, another girl is definitely going to break the pocketbook! LOL!

  17. Little girl clothes are so much better than little boy clothes. Do you think I've even given a thought to what they will wear on Easter? Or any other day for that matter? Jeans and t-shirts all the way, baby!
