She has a point

Last night at dinner we had taco salad in an assembly line. Chips, meat, refried beans, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, sour cream. Yum.

Well, as Bria was going through the line, she lost her grip on her plate and spilled it everywhere.

I reminded her that she needed to keep both hands on her plate so that things like that didn't happen.

Her response was to roll her eyes, let out a huge sigh that clearly said "parents can be soooo clueless," and say:

"I am using one hand to hold my plate so that I can dish stuff up with my other hand, Mom. I'm not an octopus."

  4. I love the addition of the octopus.

Last night Ellie ran into our room and before she could even open her mouth, Dustin asks, "Are you going to whine about something?"

Ellie says, "NO!" couple of seconds go by, "OK, yes."
