Cute hair

I think I have made it pretty clear that Bria pretty much never lets me do her hair. I have to beg, plead and bribe for the opportunity. On top of that, I have never really known how to do hair extremely well. So I was so excited to recently find a whole bunch of girly hair blogs (that link has other links and so on) around the blogosphere. (Thanks Stephanie!)

It's a good thing that Chloe lets me experiment. I have been having lots of fun with her hair lately. Bria has occasionally felt like she's missing out on the action and has let me try some new dos on her, but not very often.

The photo(s) of the week are a variation of what has become Chloe's favorite hair do: The criss cross braid. Sometimes we leave the rest down, sometimes we put it in pigtails and this time we put it in braids. Pretty cute, don't you think? And of course, Chloe is absolutely adorable. I hardly need to mention that!
The flowers she is wearing in her hair are gimmeclips. If you live in Utah, I've seen them at both Roberts and Walgreens. The scrapbooker and girly mom in me adores them. They're like scrapbook supplies for hair. Perfection!

  3. Very cute. I love the websites, because I am not so creative when it comes to hair. Let's be honest, I only really "do" my hair on sundays. . .

  4. So cute! I will let you experiment on my hair, anyday.

This made me realize that I have no idea how to do a french braid.

  5. So cute! Love the cris-cross. I'll have to see if Elodie will let me do her hair like this. SHe is alot like Brea, won't let me do much other than half up and half down. I have to warn her days in advance if I want to put her hair in pigtails....it's a battle but it's just payback. My mom said I was the same way growing up....it's what she got having me last with 3 older brothers!

  6. You do a good job. Whenever I try to do something creative with Zoie's hair, it doesn't turn out as well as I hope.

  7. Maybe it's a birth order thing? Cassie hasn't let me do her hair since she was a toddler.

I had a little girl in class one year that when I asked who did her hair so cute would always be the nanny because "Mommy doesn't know how". But then I'd heard her mom all berating the girl in class whose hair wasn't done "just so". So strange.

Very cute hair do!!!!! You did a GREAT job!!!!!!

  10. I can't say that I am ready to start having to do a girls hair(my own is almost more than I can handle)but I will have to start looking at those blogs to be able to do the future "el halta girl's" hair.

  11. How CUTE!!! I fear that when Savanna finally has enough hair for me to really style, she'll be very adamant in not letting me do it....she already yells at me when she sees me coming with the comb, water bottle and rubber bands.
