Bria's baptism

As this has become one of my most-oft hit posts, I thought I would also link you to the baptism invitation of my younger daughter who has since turned eight as well.  Chloe's baptism invitation.

Most of you know I'm LDS (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), but maybe some of you didn't know that. Anyway, in our church, eight years old is the age at which you can be baptized. Bria is turning 8 next week (I nearly keeled over when she turned seven! This is surreal to me), so she will be baptized a member of the Church on November 1. It's something we've been looking forward to for a long time and is a very exciting and special time for Bria.

I just finished making and ordering her baptism invitations, and thought I'd share them here. I'm quite proud of them. And quite proud of Bria, too.

I really love the way these turned out...nice and autumnal. :) Just needed to blur out stuff like my address and phone number in order to post it here, it's much prettier when that stuff looks how it should. I promise. Although, Joel just had to go and point out that I forgot the last period on the R.S.V.P., and now that's really bugging me. But I'm sure most people aren't as detail oriented as he is, and won't even notice. Right?
Of course, right.

  22. Oh man! You did invites and everything? Now I'm really feeling like a slacker Mom. My poor twins didn't get anything so nice for theirs. I'm sure your daughter will appreciate it and the invite is beautiful.
