It was our last day up north and the girls were making the most of it by playing in the backyard while Joel and I packed up our immense amount of crap. Why do we need to take so much stuff with us for just a week? I mean, we barely had wiggle room in the van, and we have two extra seats in there! Of course, I totally brought tons of photography equipment, not to mention my sewing machine (I'm falling behind on the Halloween costumes).
Anyway, they were sitting on the electricity box thing (what are those called anyway?) admiring all of the many pinecones they had collected. At least it wasn't bird feathers this time. They begged me to take a picture, so I found a delete worthy pic on my overflowing card and happily obliged. When I took the picture, Bria suggested they say (or, rather, yell) PINECONES! instead of cheese. And so they did.
Aren't they precious?
And they are all mine.
