My official "I'm thankful for the Children's Place" post

I know. I've said it before. I hardly need to say it again. You already know how much I love this store.

But in case you don't know why, I now give you the top ten reasons I am thankful for Children's Place. (Or just PLACE, since that's what Bria calls it.)

1. Amazingly adorable clothes (for girls anyway--I never pay much attention to their boy fare, sorry).

2. High quality clothing for reasonable prices.

3. Awesome sales. If you know how to work their clearances, coupons, and rewards programs, then you can get their stuff for cheaper than you could at WalMart. Seriously. I almost never pay full price there, and usually get stuff for a downright steal.

4. Totally appeals to my matchy matchy girly needs. I will rue the day when Bria is too big to shop there for her clothes. Of course, by then, she would be mortified to match her sisters, so I suppose it's all good.

5. They send me great coupons for my kids' birthdays, and just because they love me. And they do love me. I am their best customer, after all.

6. Did I mention the clothes are totally adorable?

7. Hair accessories that match all outfits. Also, hair accessories for all seasons.

8. Great customer service. For instance, I wanted to buy a certain pair of socks at the St. George store, and they were out of stock. I mentioned to the clerk I'd try to find them online, so she just handed me a coupon code for free shipping since they didn't have what I wanted in the store! How many places do that?

9. Best socks ever. They don't even fall off the little baby feet like every other sock in the entire world does.

10. Just look at my girls in their Christmas dresses! And isn't Sophie's hat to die for? And the matching hair accessories on Bria and Chloe? And the matching tights? And the dresses? And the shoes? How could you not love this PLACE?

(I took the picture on Sunday right before Church. They always get to wear the Christmas outfit for the first time in the Primary Program, which was also on Sunday along with the ward split. Busy day.)

Oh yeah, speaking of adorable hats....today is the last day to enter the hat giveaway! Hurry!

  3. Yes yes, I agree. I just had my fix of the "Place" on Sunday. I found Lael's Christmas dress as well as her new winter coat and all was on sale. I even got tights for 15cents! I share your love and can't wait to post her pics later!

  5. I am totally with you!! I love the Children's place!! since I have boys, I will tell you that they have the cutest and greatest boys clothes, especially church clothes. And the whole matchy matchy, thing I love when my boys match. I agree also that you can get things there(especilly at the outlet one)cheaper than wal-mart and the clothes are way better quality than cuter.
I actually need to go down to St. George to get Zack some new clothes and look for Christmas outfits. Hopefully soon!!
No I am not having a shower here. Only in the last week have people asked me if I am, and nobody had offered, so I hadn't planned on one. If you want to you totally can, but you really don't have to. IT is up to you. You are great!!!

  6. Ok, Ive heard tell about the Children's Place, but never even been to one. That's the rub living in the middle of a cultural wasteland, however, I think they next time I am in civilization, I'll check it out! I'm a sucker for good clothing now....even if it's got to be little boy stuff. :)

  10. Very cute clothes your girls are wearing! And how on the ball are you to have their Christmas clothes picked out in the fall! I never shop The Children's Place full-priced racks. The clearance racks have plenty of cute stuff on them. And by cute, I mean rugged and handsome for my boys :)

  11. I just found you on blog Stalkers Unite and I HAD to click over when you mentioned my FAVORITE store!! I buy all of my kids clothes there. They do have THE BEST clothes for THE BEST price and the coupons--HELLO they are practically giving their stuff away. For instance--my #3's birthday was in October so I had my 20% coupon and then there was an AMAZING sale online which included 2 different pairs of their levis (which I LOVE) and guess how much I ended up paying for each pair?! $3.00!! WHOO HOO Children's Place!!

Oh yeah--(not that this wasn't long enough already) their boys clothes ROCK too!!

  12. OH yeah....I rarely buy anything full priced there...like socks and tights maybe.

Bria's birthday is in October, so I got the 20% coupon for that, plus by then I have usually earned my rewards for the year to get 10% off on all purchases. The Christmas stuff was just out in October, but they had a fall kick off sale, so I still got it all for about 1/2 price when you included my other discounts.

  14. They look adorable! I got Chloe's dress for Lydia and matching vests and ties for all three of my boys. The ties actually are the same fabric as Lydia's dress, which I am so excited about. And where else can you find matching outfits for a nine-year-old, a two-year-old, and a 6-month-old? I also find great on-line coupons since I have to do all of my Children's Place shopping on the internet. I, too, am grateful for this great store!

  18. Oooh I love plaid, especially in Christmas dresses! How fun that you have three girls to dress up. Hopefully Bria will let you do that for a couple more years :)

Joel will be awesome in the bishopric too (I've been catching up on your posts)!

  19. I tried to shop there a couple times but each time I had my kids with me and it was so crowded so I just gave up and left. I should try again while I'm by myself.

  20. Oh, I have the most adorable nieces ever!

(and no, the boys clothes aren't anything special there in my opinion)

  21. (ummm, yeah, that was me....my Mom didn't log off)

  22. I love that place too! I found two great skinny jeans for Jasmine (she is still skinny) and I almost got them for free! But being LDS means to be live honestly and something told me not to go out the door unless I checked again. I was right, paid for the cute denims and felt great on the way home. Both the manager and the cashier said, "thank you for being honest." Jasmine said, "She's always like that!"
