Ode to my camera

I would be lost without it.

I love it.

The end.

In other words, I'm thankful for photographs, a pretty good camera, and the ability to use it somewhat well. I still have a long way to go in photography and I learn a lot on every shoot I do. I sure do love doing it, though.

Here's a couple of my recent shoots:

My new nephew Lucas

Cyndie's family

Cyndie's gorgeous girls

[shameless plug] If any of you locals are wanting family pictures in the next little while, I will be doing some mini sessions in anticipation of Christmas Card photos. What's a mini session you ask? Well, it's a session that will last only 1/2 hour--family only, no single shots--for 40 dollars. You'll get between 4 and 8 images on a CD. Let me know if you're interested, and we'll get it scheduled. [/shameless plug]

I'll be announcing the winner of the hat giveaway later today. I hope it's you! Stay tuned!

  1. I love the picture of your nephew yawning! Aren't babies wonderful? And I love the family pic with all of them with their hands under their chins. So cute. The individual pics of the girls are so beautiful (well all of them really). You are a great photographer!

  6. You are an amazing photographer. I was telling my husband about you just the other day. Too bad we have a $1000 gift cert to a place in Logan we are using in December! But I will contact you soon (maybe early summer?)

  10. OK, so I guess I'm a little biased, but that is the cutest baby boy I've ever seen! (and you should smell his delightful breath!)

Seriously, you are so amazing Lara! You captured every ounce of his 5 week old essence! Thank you again!
