My brother Jon got a Nintendo Wii for his birthday, which happened to be the day after Thanksgiving this year. He got it a few days early, though. Therefore, on Thanksgiving night, traditionally spent playing board games, we played Wii games instead.
A game called Dancing with Dweebs was the hit of the evening.
Here are the photos to prove that we were, indeed, dancing dweebs.
Mom, Rachael and me....this was the oh-so-lovely butt-slap move.
Me, Rachael and Joel. Looking at this picture helps me realize what I was doing wrong on this move. (I stunk at this game, by the way.)
After five games or so, you really work up a sweat. This picture makes me laugh because the three of us are like low impact, medium impact, and crazy-high impact demonstrators on an aerobics show. (I really didn't know I could lift my leg quite so high.) At least I was actually getting into the game. More than Mr. Joel was, anyway.
See? I followed the little stick figure guy exactly. Joel half-heartedly moved his remotes around. At least I can be sure I burned more calories than he did. Because that is definitely what matters. Not the fact that he still beat me with his miniscule little moves. Cheater.
Nate and Rachael. It's much more fun to watch people play in real life...the pictures don't quite do it justice. It's not Dance Dance Revolution, but it works.
I have never had such sore arms, even days later, but we sure had a blast!
