Guess who?

•Has lost 30+ pounds since October 15?

•Can zip up her skinny jeans and even sit down in them, although they may still be a little tight for public consumption?

•Is officially two sizes smaller than she was in October?

•Feels healthier than she has in a long time?

•Is seeing her PCOS symptoms lessen?

•Could have done even better if she hadn't done this over the holidays (where she gained 7 pounds back of the 25 she had lost up to that point)?

Did you guess?

Did you guess me?

You're right!

  1. Ok, Lara. Who is making me very jealous? I am trying to eat better and exercise (even have a personal trainer), so I am hoping to be a FEW pounds lighter in a few months.

    Congratulations!

  5. Holy cow! I hope you have been taking good before and after pictures for yourself. I have lost 17lbs since Thanksgiving. My goal was to lose 30 in 6 months so I am on track. That is really awesome to hear someone kicking the crap out of weight loss. High Five!

  7. I'd be all excited for you if I weren't 4 months pregnant and slowly turning into a blimp. So instead can I just be jealous?

  9. Way to go!! I gave up for a few weeks. . . I was working so hard and still gaining weight. After talking to you, I really think something isn't right, but the doctor keeps telling me, everything checks out. While you have lost 30 I have gained that much. So frustrating. Keep sharing your success, it gives me hope for myself :)

  11. Actually, I guessed me, and then I realized that I gained 30 pounds and don't have PCOS, so it was probably you.

  12. Awesome! I COVET that accomplishment, I mean I am so happy for you. Really I know how hard it can be to try and lose thirty pounds. It takes a lot of dedication, and in my case crying myself to sleep because I am so hungry. Way to go!!

  21. Good for you! I'm thinking I need to do some sort of blog challenge so I can shed some pounds. Any ideas???????????? (I gained 7 during the holidays, too, which is all that I had lost in Sept and Oct)

  27. A huge YAY for you! I love how you can fit into your skinny pants, but they may not be ready for public consumption. Soon, Lara. Soon.

  28. You looked HOT right after Christmas, so I can't imagine you looking even better now!

As long as they zip, it's an accomplishment. Do the squat/stretch and out in public you go.

  29. That is awesome! Congrats! Sadly, I have to live with the fact that I will steadily be gaining weight for another 5 to 6 months :)

  30. You are my hero! Seriously...maintaining a trim figure gets harder all the time. I remember once telling my dad that I would never get fat...pretty sure I was in Junior High or something and him just laughing at me. Not that I feel fat, but when you put on 20 pounds after your second baby, it gets discouraging! Well congrats.

  31. That is very impressive. Way to zip up those skinny jeans.

  32. LARA!! THAT IS SOOOO AWESOME!! I know the hard work that goes into shedding extra poundage, and so I can say with completely unbridled joy for you: CONGRATULATIONS!!!

  33. Guess who has GAINED 20 lbs since Oct? That's what I guess for running a marathon, then sitting flat on my butt doing nothing for 2 months.
    Care to swap secrets?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Congratulations! A job well done!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yay for you! Hey, I thought I was the only one who said "public consumption" when referring to clothes that aren't. I must have picked it up somewhere. . . and here I thought I was some kind of genius!

  36. Way to go, Lara!!!

Have you been doing the hcg thing with your mom, or something else?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Awesome! Congrats! I'm trying to lose 15 I gained gradually over a year ago. It's harder with working (when I lost the weight before, I wasn't working full time. Stress sucks and you want to MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH!)

  38. Congratulations Lara. I know how hard it is. You should be very proud of yourself. Keep it up!

  39. Damn it! Like Kristina P, I guessed myself. Especially after I read that second bullet about being able to zip my skinny jeans, but their still being too tight for public consumption. :)

Well, if it is not me, I am sure glad that it is you. A big congratulations to you, Lara.
