Running on empty

Chloe was distraught this afternoon because Bria didn't think she was funny.

Bria's explanation?

"I already laughed too much today and I don't have anymore laughs left inside of me."

I think we all feel that way at some time or another, whether it's laughs or, in my case, energy.

Here's to a more energetic and laughter-filled day tomorrow.

(And I loved your post Tuesday - I just saw it today, but it exactly describes my husband and me. Very well written.)

  7. Unfortunately I have felt like this for a few weeks. I'm just too tired to care about much. I understand her.

  9. I'm thinking all that Utah snow is sapping everybody's energy. It's supposed to be sunny and mid-60's this weekend in Vegas. Grab those kids and drive down for a little warm-up. They'll be laughing again in no time (especially when they see the pictures we put on the backs of our taxicabs!)

And sometimes the children are killing it.

  22. THAT is funny. One time I asked Christian to go outside to tell Mikelle it was time to come in.

But as he was putting his shoes on, she came in on her own. he pitched a fit because he wanted to go get her. So I told Mikelle to go back outside and Christian would come get her and tell her to come inside. She complied, but when Christian went outside, he was mad that she was just standing outside the door. So he got really upset and came inside and full blown pouted on the couch. A second later, Mikelle comes inside and in the most mature manner, non-nonchalantly said, "I'm really not liking how this is going."
