  4. I just love that about her! Such a darling heart she's got.

Jasmine made me coupons at school that included a free sleep-in day.

  7. I can remember writing notes like that when I was is Kindergarten and first grade. My mom kept some of them, and I got to see them recently...there is just so much wonder in being a mom, don't you think?

  12. Yep, ten points out of ten for cute. One of my favorite treasures from my kids' "little years" is the collection of letters they've sent to Santa over the years. But hide 'em well; one child had a little crisis of faith after an unfortunate snooping incident...

I need to scan in some of the notes I get from KJ. You can't help loving the 7 year old spelling.

  20. So sweet and cute, and funny that although she feels bad for him being sick, not bad enough to let him get out of making rice for her.

  21. Be sure and save those...you kids will get a kick out of them when they are older, they are the cutest notes!! My daughter (named Emma) always spelled her name Amma and she is a terrible speller to this day (I love to tease her about it and say, you spell now just like you did THEN).

  23. Sweet indeed. Ugh, I have been so nostalgic lately. Cleaning through my scrapbook stuff on Saturday I was crying like a baby as I sorted through a lot of things just like this. I love being a mom.

  24. I love this age! Kelley is my little angel right now. I'm so excited for her future, but a part of me just wishes she could stay like this for ever. Cute pics by the way. Chloe's writing really well...we still have a lot of work with Kelley I guess...
