Color Coordinated Easter

I went a bit overboard on the Easter Baskets this year. Errr...I mean the Easter Bunny did. Everything in the basket matches their dresses, right down to the nasty Easter grass. And I think every time I saw something that matched all three dresses, I bought it. They have sidewalk chalk, bubbles, all manner of candy, pens, nail polish, bath poufs and who knows what else? Spoiled rotten.

The pictures are HORRIBLE because they didn't have time for a photoshoot...they needed to see what was in those baskets! And eat it all, of course!

  1. They look adorable! I kinda do the same thing. It makes it cute and it is just easier to color code. :O)

  3. I think they look adorable. Even though I have 4 boys and 1 girl. I would have them all have the same tie and shirt to match Jayden's dress! I love the matchy stuff! I think you did just fine on the Easter baskets. It is a time to celebrate and rejoice! You know if your kids know the true meaning of Easter!

  4. Well, I can never see Flicker photos, so I'm not positive, but I am guessing your HORRIBLE photos look about like my great ones.

Color coding is awesome. I've done that in the past. It's chicken soup for the obsessive compulsive soul.

  5. I'm in the process of collecting drapes, pillows, vases and such to decorate with (if our house ever gets finished), and I'm afraid I'm doing the same thing. I like reds and tans, but I'm pretty sure not EVERYTHING in the house needs to be red or tan. :)

I like Mina's comment about the obsessive compulsive soul. It's like she's in my head...

  6. Oh my goodness. My daughters would have gone nutso for this. How darling is this idea? Too bad I don't plan a little better instead of running to Target at 10 pm the night before.

    So cute, Lara.

  7. Wow.
I am feeling a little nauseated, not sure if it's the contractions, or all that color-coordinating stuff. ;)

  8. I am not that talented. Or maybe I'm just plain lazy. But to color coordinate baskets with dresses takes major talent. I'm impressed.

  9. That's sort of like what I did for Derek. Except his was Spiderman. It's really hard to find non-pastel blues and reds at Easter, but I did it! :D

  11. I think they look adorable! I love the matching baskets idea! I tried, I really tried but the moment they saw their baskets, before I can say anything, they traded!

The pictures look great to me!

  13. I'm shocked you were able to get any picture with their baskets in tact. Not us.

(the eb went waaaaay overboard this year...had post easter guilt and vowed to scale back next year)

  14. That is too dang cute, I'm still mad I missed the dresses at Children's Place. What a good mom you are to have earned the favor of such a fun Easter Bunny :-)

  15. So clever and cute! Just what I've come to expect from you. The Easter Bunny brought my girls, whatever they had at Big Lots. It was a last minute shopping trip for him (so I heard) and apparently he hates Wal-Mart as much as I do.
