Wisconsin Farm

No cruise pictures for today.

I made this photo somewhere between Green Bay, Wisconsin and Houghton, Michigan. I was really enamored of all the farms on that drive. Just my luck, I took this picture and my camera battery died, so I didn't get any more. There were so many better farms, too!

Still, this one is pretty cool. Makes me excited to live in the Midwest.

  1. Great pics! We have friends who live in Wisconsin. Would love to see countryside like that one day. (And our friends, too, for sure!)

  2. I should have hid in the suitcase. Gorgeous Lara. I have a thing for red barns and lush green surrounding them. Perfect picture.

  6. Man, my FIL's computer is SLOW!!!! And it's not the DSL connection either, it's all the crud they have on their computer! ANYWAY...love the picture. Reminds me of a lot of places in Oregon I drove by. So you're going to be on the upper western part of Michigan?

  7. I just saw your post title, and I wondered if you'd decided to buy a farm. :) It's a bit hard to picture you as a farmer, but hey, I'm sure you could do anything you put your mind to. :)

  15. I love that farm with the classic red barn and silos. I'd love to live near one, too or at least while still a quick hop to some of the familiar stores. Glad that you at least caught a good shot. ;-)

  16. We're going to be near Green Bay in a couple of weeks for a wedding; the farms (especially the dairy farms, for some reason) out there are just gorgeous. I'm kicking myself for never having photographed a lovely striped red and white barn in western WI that I passed several times. Someday, someday!

All that lush greenery...I think you'll love living up there.
