I remember those days!
Your living room looks cute. Can't wait to see more pictures.
My living room and kitchen looks the same way! LOL! I was to lazy to bake but we did eat boxes of cherry pop tarts!
Your conference day looked pretty darn cozy! I should come over there!
It all looks so familiar about ten years ago when I had four little ones romping around. We tried so hard to listen and get some messages heard. I did all the fun treats too. Although those days seemed crazy and I wondered if the kids got anything out of it, the memories were all worth it. They talk about those conference days and look forward to them and still wish I would do some of those fun things. I guess you're never too old for some good old motherly love and treats!!
Now THAT, my friend, is a temple-home. I love it.
The messes and aftermath are all part of the fun!
Yep. Same thing here, and my kids are big! We did a quick dish-wash and vacuum through after the priesthood session, but that's it.I'm with you! Love conference.(And this picture thing is so dang clever. What a talented girl you are!)
Looks like a good time had by all. I want to learn how you did the lovely photo commentary!
Oh I remember those days! And it is soooo good to see you carry one the cinnamon roll tradition!!! I LOVE Conference!
I hear you. It was IMPOSSIBLE this morning trying to watch the first session. We gave up trying to watch the 2nd session as a family. It was would be more "contention of the devil" if we attempted. Thank goodness for DVR. I'd write more about how this morning went, but you want your blog to stay G-rated in its language.
It looks like you had a pretty great day. Good for you! (So did we.)
Our living room has candy wrappers and bingo cards.
I didn't dare take a picture of our aftermath ... yikes!!! ;)
We actually had a lazy conference day today. But I did bake some french bread for dinner! And yeah, our couch groaned of our crowding as well. ;-)
I'm so glad we were out of town all weekend because otherwise I'd feel like a REAL slacker after seeing this. Oh wait- I AM a real slacker. In any case, I'm glad you found little ways to make the opportunity special for your kids. I might steal a few of those ideas for 6 months from now!
Conference was amazing.I'm still processing Elder Holland's amazing talk. But, it is your house that I'm trying to see in every centimeter of that picture...I love it!! Do you have some more for my viewing pleasure?
Oh, how comforting this is! :) Our livingroom looked like a bomb explosion.
I love your living room! It is very lived in and not museum like. So comfortable. And your house looks just like mine always did growing up watching conference. Love it.
