How I Know I Married a Musician: Part 4

While Joel and I were out of town for a performance, we were parked in a restaurant parking lot, sitting in the back seat of the minivan catching up on emails by using the internet connection of the aforementioned restaurant.  Joel asked me to get the keys, which he had left in the ignition.  When I asked where they were, he said:

They're in the key signature.

  1. I love it! It's so fun to see what quirky behavior comes out of other professions! My husband, the handyman, cleans his brushes in ANY sink in the house. Yesterday, I found one in our master bathroom. He was painting in the front entryway! :)

  2. I just read all four of them and I can't stop laughing!

(And is it bad that sometimes I'm glad I married someone with no musical talent or abilities?!)

  3. Lara, those are so darling. I love it! And I can't believe I haven't said anything to you about how funny it is that Joel and David played together. I love this small Mormon/music world.

  5. We have so many moments like these at our house! Interestingly, it's my 20-year old daughter who is most likely to come up with a music term when she means something from real life. What the kid is doing majoring in Biology I'll never know!!

  7. So do the number of keys on the ring make it go from A flat to B?
