Love & Laughter

All you need in the world is love and laughter. That's all anybody needs. To have love in one hand and laughter in the other.

I haven't had a half decent photoshoot with all three of my offspring in a really long time. Like, maybe not since Easter 2010? I love how much they love and laugh together. It does a mother's heart good. Especially when the shrieking starts...

PS None of these pictures is featured on our Christmas card, so hopefully I'm not spoiling too much!

PPS I know I say it every time, but I really think this is the absolute last time I can get away with dressing them identically. It breaks my heart a little bit so I will make them wear these dresses to the ground this season!

  1. I do a mental check in my mind everytime I see your girls all old is Brea? How old is Elodie now. And then I breath a sigh of relief knowing I have a few more years...LOVE LOVE LOVE those black polka dot tights! Where are they from?

  2. I love the pics, Lara. Can't wait for you to post the one you actually used! Your girls are lovely, and look so happy.

PS Thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing "None/is" on the first PS. Nobody gets that right. Drives me batty, probably more batty than it should, but what can I do?

  3. You make some pretty gorgeous offspring. And beautiful pictures too.

I have been lurking around here--sadly not commenting. I'll get better about that. Just wanted you to know how much I appreciate you sharing your talents, and your beautiful words, with the world. With me.

  4. So very cute. I love your middle daughter's bangs. I think she looks so grown up. Very, very cute!

  5. Wow. Just simply Wow. Their outfits, the colors and their dark hair, make for a STUNNING photo!

  6. I love your tradition of dressing them identically. I hope Bria will be able to look back on it fondly when she's a teenager (as opposed to utter mortification...teens are embarrassed so easily!)—I know she will when she's all grown up.

Gorgeous shots, as always! That stone wall is the perfect backdrop.

  7. I totally stole your quote the second it showed up in my reader! Secret: When we were dating, Jeff scribbled a p.s. at the end of a letter: "Looking forward to a lifetime of Love, Laughter and Service!" So from that point on, our family motto is Love, Laughter and Service. I even had it inscribed on the inside of his wedding band. So I totally love that quote! And I'm pretty sure if Mr. August Wilson were LDS he'd have included SERVICE in his secret to happiness.

Your girls are adorable and tres chic in their matching tights! Love!

  8. Really great photos! Love their outfits! Cute cute cute girls!

  9. Love their polka dot tights!
They look like they are having the time of their lives.
