In December, I got to review a Beauty Box 5 subscription, and I am now an official member of the Beauty Box Five Review team. Which means I now get to review their box each month, so keep your eye out for them--beauty subscriptions are always full of new and exciting goodness.
The theme for this month's Beauty Box was "Out with the old, in with the new!" with a major emphasis on skin care.
I received four of the five products featured this month:
Jane's Pick All Natural Handmade Soap (retail $8.00): All natural=no chemicals, and I love that. It also smells wonderful and is gentle on the skin. I didn't try this, but apparently you can lather it up and use it in place of shaving cream, as well.
Bellapierre Cosmetics Makeup Base (retail $18.99): I have used this every single day since I received this box. I love this stuff. It can be used as a concealer (why am I almost 40 years old and still having regular breakouts on my face?), an illuminator, or an eyeshadow primer. It's not heavy at all, and looks really nice on--especially when used as a concealer, which (unfortunately) was how I mostly used it this week.
H2O Plus Hand & Nail Cream (retail $15.00): In the harsh winter we've had this year, I've been using a ton of different hand creams to keep the dry skin and eczema away. This one totally passed the test--it didn't burn or irritate, and it did a nice job of moisturizing as well.
Swissco Dual-sided Facial Pad (retail $2.00): I've never actually used something like this on my face before, but I did like using it and can see how it will be quite beneficial.
The other product that was included in March's Beauty Box was Tree Hut Shea Body Butter (retail $7.49), which also looks pretty nice and sounds like it smells heavenly.
The total worth of this month's Beauty Box 5 is $51.39, which is an excellent value. A monthly subscription to Beauty Box 5 costs $12.00. Sign up by March 31st to receive April's box!
