Over the river and through the woods

We had a wonderful Christmas, and the last day and a half have been spent doing some major cleaning and organizing in the Neves household. This includes throwing away a whole bag full of broken toys and holey jeans without the girls' knowledge. They would freak out if they knew what was in that bag, but won't miss anything otherwise.

Today we are off to visit grandparents up north and plan on staying for a week. I'll update more with photos of Christmas and such next week.

Hope your vacation (if you still have one....that is certainly a nice thing about being married to a school teacher!) is (or was) wonderful!!!

  1. Isn't it the truth! Christmas is the start of "spring cleaning"! We have to clean in order to make room for the new stuff and while you're there - you might as well do it all! :)
Enjoy the fun with family and be safe!!

  2. Hope your travel was safe and not too cold. Enjoy that week of family time. It's nice to have a few days off! :O)

I need to get the Christmas cleaning going too. I just couldn't stand to do it yet. . .

  3. LOL, we're cleaning around here. Hit DD7's room yesterday - three huge bags of garbage. Oi. That girl collects more cardboard boxes than a recycling center.

Moving on to DD5's today. Only about half a bag of trash there.

And slowly, very slowly, getting caught up on laundry. *sigh*

Have fun up north! Does this mean you are in my neck of the woods? :)

  4. Hope you're having a GREAT time!!!! Can't wait to see pics!!

  5. Happy New Year Lara! And safe travels!
    God bless.
