For Family Home Evening last night, Joel read a scripture out of Acts (I think....anyway Paul was talking to people somewhere). When he said that Paul was speaking to the Saints, he asked the girls what Saints were.

If only it were that easy, right?
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny comment - your girls crack me up!
And there you have it. Time to make that calling and election sure!
ReplyDeleteFunny! I know a lot of people from StG and it could be true. :)
ReplyDeleteI guess I need to move south, if that is what it takes.
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to know where they gathered too. Thanks for answering.
ReplyDeleteSo cute Lara.
in planning a 3 mile hike for our young women I indicated that I didn't think it was particularly necessary to head out of town to find anything too rugged, that many of the simple trails locally would suffice. The YW President followed my comment with her testimony of how important it is for the YW to complete this hike (mind you its a one time deal) because ...and I quote..."At some point they will be required to walk to Missouri to gather with the saints, this is really important." Apparently there won't be any vehicles in the future, and all 12 million of us are going to gather in Missouri...the revelation that we should build zion in our own homes across the world apparently has been reversed. Who knew? So when you head to St. George, don't take your car with you, and make sure the kids know its only temporary and you'll be walking your way to Missouri as soon as you get the call from your home teacher.
ReplyDeleteI will have to move way North and nope to COLD for me! JK I would do what ever but still!
ReplyDeleteClan of the Cavehair's cracking me up over here . . .

ReplyDeleteSt. George? Oh, my! I laughed so hard I snorted. Good thing I don't blog and breakfast at the same time...
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that. I wasn't offended and was just teasing in my above comment. I hope no one else was offended. Sorry. Oh, and I actually think it might be fun to meet in St. George sometime.
ReplyDeleteI always knew there was something special about their red rock... and being so close to Zion. :)
ReplyDeleteI do always get a warm and fuzzy feeling when I drive through there!!
