I'm still not sure whether she is trying to say cuddle or snuggle, but still. Who can resist a suddle from Sophia? Certainly not this mama.
Sunday afternoons are the perfect time for napping. And for suddling.
The best part?
Afternoon suddles mean Sophie will fall immediately to sleep.
A much needed nap for both of us.
What a blessed life I have.

(Thanks Joel for taking a picture of your sleeping beauties.)
Awww...sweet !
ReplyDeleteI took a late nap on Sunday after church and was up until 3 a.m. No more late naps for me ! LOL
Can I come over next Sunday and suddle with Sophia? It looks heavenly!
ReplyDeleteSimply delightful!
ReplyDeleteSuper sweet.
ReplyDeleteDavid used to use the word "coasty". We assumed he meant cozy and toasty. He liked to get under a blanket or curl up in our lap because it was so coasty. I love that. (and miss it!!)
Yes you are! I wanna suddle on Oct 10th! Tell Sophie to save one for me!!
ReplyDeleteNone of my kids cuddle they are all wild children! I wish at least one of them would!
ReplyDeleteI love a good suddle. It makes us appreciate and love our little ones--even though they can be naughty!! (0:
ReplyDeleteSophia is so cute. Enjoy suddling with her!
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteI love the word suddle. That's the cutest thing ever. Sunday afternoon naps are the best. They don't happen very often in this house, but when they do, they are awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love me some naps. My dudes have NEVER taken them with me unless they were super ill. Thanks to preemie-ness and that aversion to touch, it's been a battle to get hugs. Happily, I won that battle!
ReplyDeleteAwwww! Gotta love the snugglebugs! Christian has always been my snuggly one. But he also is sneaky saying he wants to snuggle at naptime and then wait for me to fall asleep and then launch an offensive in the house. So with him, you have to be more vigilant. lol
ReplyDeleteJOEL TOOK A PICTURE?
ReplyDeleteMake him call Drew.
Really. :)
Yet one more thing Sophia and my Anna have in common. During the summer Anna would come in every morning just to cuddle me before we had to get up. I'm with you- there is nothing more wonderful than those close moments we have with our kids. It's even better when they initiate that time with us.
ReplyDeleteHey- we're heading down to your old 'neck of the woods' this weekend. Well, almost. Capitol Reef with the kids. I hope we get some good Suddle time in too!
Oh that is so sweet! I love little girls so so much!
ReplyDeleteAww!
ReplyDeleteaaawwww. i need someone to suddle with!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! That is really cute and sweet. I wish I had a little girl to suddle with!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to the time change for church next year. It's impossible to take a nap when we get out of church at 4:15 or so. Wake up too groggy.
I just love it when kids want to suddle you. It is the best.
ReplyDeleteMy little is a wide awake-suddler but not when he sleeps. That picture makes me feel just the teensiest bit jealous...
ReplyDeleteThis is SOOOO sweet. And I might just keep the word "suddle".
