No April Fools here. Those are real motorcycles in a real tree, and I saw it with my own eyes (which are also real). The story goes that a bunch of bikers would get together for a yearly celebration of some sort, and would always burn a bike. Then, they threw the burned-out skeleton into this tree, which neighbors our maple-syrup making friends. After several years of this ritual, the tree ended up looking like this.
I just thought it was cool.
You must be April foolin'! Your eyes can't possibly be real! But if you are actually being serious and your eyes do, indeed exist, then I totally believe in the motorcycle tree, too. We don't have those in Poland.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! We don't have those in Logan either! :) very cool
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty cool!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteI had to look a couple times, very cool.
ReplyDeleteI wanna burn a motorcycle. Sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteTHat would be so cool to see!
ReplyDeleteA guy in a neighboring town built a stone henge out of broken cars in his yard. It was pretty awesome looking until the city made him take it down.
I am loving this! Makes me want to start a special tree. Maybe a sneaker tree, with all my old running shoes!
ReplyDeleteThat IS pretty cool! Although, I feel kind of bad for the tree. It seems like it would be hard to support the extra weight.
ReplyDeleteThat is cool. I would love to see that in person.
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought the shoe tree in Minneapolis was cool—this just blows my mind! But how do they get them up there??
ReplyDeleteImpressive they got them up there. Seems easier to plant a motorcycle and wait for it to grow into a tree.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty cool that no one has bothered them, but allowed them to remain on the tree. I like the sepia-ish picture too.
