We didn't. Not really, anyway.
Joel and I went out with some friends--we ate some good pizza and then saw a bizarre movie. (Blackboards, if you are curious.) But, beyond that, we did nothing out of the ordinary. Except maybe Parent/Teacher conferences, which are ordinary in their own way.
Joel had the fun idea to take a picture of 11-year old Bria at 11:11 and 11 seconds, which wasn't as easy as you may think to catch. You'll notice the photo up there is pretty strange looking, and that's because it underexposed because of the bright computer screen. I noticed that at 11:11:09, but didn't have time to fix the exposure quite enough, so I just caught the moment and did my best in Photoshop. Still pretty cool.
Happy Weekend!
Funny I hardly thought about it - I think I thought about it more when it was 11-1-11 - Two cool dates in once month.
ReplyDeleteI love that you took a picture of your 11 year old at 11:11 on 11/11/11 - I have an 11 year old - wish I would have thought of that!!
Yay, Ann Arbor! I have a niece, locally in Ann Arbor (-: that was also 11 (birthday in July though) on 11/11/11. And, if it's any consolation, Chippy has cousins in Ann Arbor. We call our Chipmunk (which is probably more than one and I think he/they may reside in our garage), Chippy too. Since George Foreman has multiple sons named George I think Chippy can have multiple cousins named Chippy. (-:
ReplyDeleteCool pictures! I have a slight 11 obsession, and was excited for the day. :)
ReplyDeleteCute post :) It's always interesting when those "number" months/years come along. It brings a little whimsy to our days ...
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of those photos. :)
