First Sunday in November...Already!

Just a quick Sunday photo and update today.

We had Halloween, and it was literally amazing.

You can see more photos here: Happy Halloween from the Grammar Avengers.

The Maestro's tenure file is due tomorrow. In just a second, I'm going to the office to help him put all of the binders together. I had no idea how much work goes into a tenure file binder. No idea.

He's already pulled a couple all-nighters this week trying to get it done, despite having worked on it since July. Just goes to show we always wait until the last minute to truly get the bulk of things done.

I drove the (exhausting) 8-hour round trip down to Green Bay and back with a friend yesterday to go to our Stake Women's Conference. I was asked to sing (and The Maestro gladly accepted in my behalf) or I probably wouldn't have gone. I am so glad I went, though. Lots of things were said that I truly needed to hear. Maybe I'll write about it sometime once I get my thoughts more gathered together.

It snowed for the first time on Halloween morning. It stuck well enough that there's still some on the ground. This end of winter is okay for me because I have my favorite holidays to look forward to, but I am still not thrilled about the snow.

And I'm always a little sad when Halloween is over. It's such a fun holiday!

Off to do some trick-or-treating in the snow! How apropo for Olaf!
Looking at my calendar, I'm afraid the next round of holidays is going to zoom by just as quickly, so I'm determined to make the most of it. I'm not sure what that will look like, but it may mean I need to start planning Thanksgiving and Christmas today. After I help with The Maestro's tenure portfolio, of course.

And maybe take a nap...

Happy Sunday!
