And the term housewife, popular in some circles makes me think that there might be an office wife, or a barn wife, or some other iteration lurking out there. Every woman can and should be a homemaker, the maker of a home that is inviting to others and a haven for herself. I was certainly a homemaker before I was married (at age 30).
