I disliked it when my mother would say, she’s a bit shy at introductions. It was a label and I felt judged rather than accepted. I understand the impulse though and know there was no harm meant. Accepting introverts for who they are is an important message though for a child to receive from their parent.

Only because I have all daughters, so when I write an article I am usually referring to them. 🙂 Of course there are introverted boys out there, and these tips will work just as well for them, I am sure!
