I love that you still posted it. 3 months late even. And birthday parties are hard work, I think. I mean, when I was a kid, it was cake, ice cream, and a few games. That was it. Now days, everything just seems to be so over the top. Very dramatic. And the party looked very fun.

Even if you don't go all out, parties can take a lot out of a mom. This is why we decided to only have friend parties every other year. It seems to work pretty well.

Love it! Fancy Nancy is VERY popular in our house too (much to Buddy's sadness.) We did a Fancy Nancy party when Goldie turned 5 last year (about 2 weeks before we moved into our house–YIKES!) and will (I'm sure) have another one for Eyes' 5th bday this year…..They're 18 months apart–not 6, if that wasn't clear 🙂

Yes, I agree. Sophis IS Fancy Nancy! What a fun party and I thought your cake looked great. I make a homemade cake, (usually) but decorating it is not my forte. I should at least write on it. That looked very cute! Love that girl!
