It just seems like EVERYONE is getting on the dystopian bandwagon in the past few years, and it's not all good. I wouldn't exactly call this historical fiction–it's just pure fiction set in medieval times, no history. And like I said it uses a very modern voice.

I know so many people are getting tired of it, but I even took a course on it in college. It is my favorite kind. That said, historical fiction is right behind that and this sounds like a good book for my daughter if she were older!
