Le Corbusier said the most basic function of art is to elicit an emotional response. Thus, any response, positive or negative, may be viewed as a success. I like this thought. Even art that is repulsive or ugly is successful because of the response. The intent of the artist is conveyed to the audience, and we are all blessed for it.]]></description>
