It is Thankful People Who are Happy: Thanksgiving Printable

It's time to take the Halloween decorations down and start putting up Thanksgiving decor.  I liked the idea of decorating with printables in frames so much for Halloween, that I decided to make some for Thanksgiving, too.

This beautiful quote is perfect to frame and use for your Thanksgiving decor this year. Free downloadable printable, "it is not happy people who are thankful, it is thankful people who are happy."

I fell in love with this quote when I first saw it on a big sign on Pinterest, so I decided to use it for my first Thanksgiving printable.  (I'm taking suggestions on what I should use for the next one—so if you have any...)

It is not happy people who are thankful, it is thankful people who are happy.

Chloe and I had a lovely discussion about the meaning of this quote when I printed it out last night.  She thought it was a stupid quote at first because she didn't get the nuance.  It was neat to see her start to understand that gratitude makes us happy people, and that it doesn't usually work the other way around.

  1. What a beautiful printable! We don't do a lot of decorating 😞 but printables would be a great way to decorate without spending a bundle. Thanks for sharing

  2. OMGosh, THANK YOU!!! I have loved this quote since I saw it on Pinterest on a Chalkboard, but could NOT find a printable for it (I don't have a giant chalkboard framed...)

I will be pinning your version and THANK YOU again for making it FREE. We just bought a home and are hosting Thanksgiving with little $$ for decorating.
